Despite Microsoft’s good intentions, many users complained that this patch broke their computers. They reported that KB4093118 triggers install reboot loops. It seems that this problem is prevalent for 32bit Windows 7 computers. Other users experienced PC crashes immediately after downloading and installing the update. Again, this problem affects only 32bit Windows 10 computers.
How to fix KB4093118 bugs
The quickest solution to fix these issues is to simply uninstall the update. Once you’ve removed this patch, you should no longer experience any issues. Keep in mind that apart from the two issues listed above, there are two additional known bugs affecting this patch. You may encounter memory leaks on some SMB servers when the requested path traverses a symbolic link, mount point, or directory junction. Also, stop errors may occur on PCs that don’t support Streaming Single Instructions Multiple Data Extensions 2 (SSE2).
